About the Doctor
As the founder of Mission Dental Implant Center, Dr. Al Manesh specializes in regenerative periodontal care, dental implants, and oral plastic surgery. Growing up, Dr. Manesh was fascinated by dentistry and knew that he wanted a career that would make a difference in the lives of a multitude of people. His passion for teeth continues to grow, and today, he is providing quality care to patients throughout Orange County.
Dr. Manesh moved to Orange County with his family when he was seventeen years old. He completed his undergraduate education at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and then moved to Portland, Oregon, where he received his degree in dentistry at Oregon Health Science University in 1993. Upon graduating, Dr. Manesh moved to Brooklyn, New York, where he completed a general practice residency at Lutheran Medical Center. After one short year, Dr. Manesh decided to focus on periodontics. After graduating in 1998, Dr. Manesh returned to Orange County and became an associate at South Coast Dental Specialties, practicing periodontic and implant dentistry until early 2007, when he founded Mission Dental Implant Center in Mission Viejo, CA.

Dr. Manesh truly enjoys what he does. He is constantly learning new techniques and sharpening his dental skills. He believes that is it critical for a surgeon to stay up-to-date with changes in technology, and strives to provide the best standard of care for his patients in an environment with the most advanced resources. Along with continuing his education, Dr. Manesh is a published author. He also presents lectures and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, as well as an active member of the American Dental Association, the Orange County Dental Society, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Academy of Osseointegration,
Dr. Manesh is married and has three children. He is very active in the Mission Viejo community, and in his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading, jet skiing, and boating.
